Hello!, We are fostering and supporting innovative digital health technology in Singapore and the Asia Pacific region.
Grants4Apps in Singapore was launched in 2017. as one of the new Digital health power initiatives from Bayer’s G4A program that was successfully first launched in Berlin in 2013. In the inaugural round, Bayer has partnered with the National University of Singapore (NUS) to launch an open innovation challenge in Singapore and across Asia Pacific. For this first challenge, we are looked for innovative solutions to improve medication adherence in elderly people with chronic medical conditions. We have also organised community Meetups to ensure even better networking opportunities for everyone interested.
Medication adherence (inaugural round). Medication adherence among the elderly population is a complex and multi-faceted issue and Bayer would like to partner with stakeholders to discover solutions to address this public health challenge.
Our all-round support program includes: Mentoring & coaching by a team of medical, industry and academic experts (including Bayer, NUS, complementary industry partners where relevant) to develop your proposal. Incubation space at Blk71 by NUS Enterprise and possibility for a more permanent arrangement to the 3 winners. Opportunities to broaden network and pitch your idea to a wide audience. Up to 3 winners will be awarded grants of S$10,000 each. Winners of Grants4Apps Singapore may be admitted to the global Grants4Apps program and the Grants4Apps Accelerator and stand a chance to receive additional financial support up to 50,000 Euro, mentoring by Bayer managers and an international network of external entrepreneurs as well as coworking space at the global headquarters of Bayer Pharmaceuticals division in Berlin, Germany.
