Bayer G4A presents its 2021 Growth Track Finalists
Bayer G4A initiates investments in four promising digital health companies in the areas of cardiovascular diseases, women’s health, and mental health as part of their Digital Health Partnerships Program. These digital health companies will be part of G4A’s Growth Track cohort and receive financial funding and mentorship to accelerate their business. The participating companies were selected by Bayer from over 200 applications out of 40 countries based on the strategic fit, development stage of the project, and internal assessment.
“As the digital transformation of the healthcare system becomes a necessity and the demand for personalized healthcare increases, we are proud to support digital health companies that are developing innovative solutions to empower people to manage their own health and make healthcare more accessible”, said Dominick Kennerson, Global Head of G4A.
Through Bayer G4A’s Digital Health Partnerships Program, the Growth Track is the acceleration program for early-stage digital health startups. These companies receive 100.000 EUR funding to accelerate market uptake as well as mentorship from Bayer experts and coaching from external industry experts in various fields such as market entry, GDPR & HIPAA, and financial planning.
This year’s selected Growth Track partners are:
Cardiokol develops a voice-based, hardware-free solution for monitoring and screening of heart arrythmias in order to prevent stroke and heart diseases and improve monitoring for at-risk populations. The technology is applicable for mass at-risk populations including older adults (65+), by utilizing proprietary technology that is implemented in speech platforms such as landlines, smartphones, smart speakers and voice assistants.
RCube Health develops RESONY, an app that provides instant access to evidence-based mental health support. RESONY offers personalized exercises to reduce daily stress and anxiety. Unlike other wellness apps, RESONY uses a holistic integrated approach combining proven psychological therapies with body-based techniques to help users achieve faster and sustainable relief.
Pollie develops the one-stop-shop telehealth solution for the management of complex women’s chronic conditions by offering a personalized, digital program for women to manage PCOS, the most common hormone imbalance in women.
Acorai develops a non-invasive, cost-efficient cardiac pressure monitoring device to reduce heart failure re-hospitalizations. The Acorai Heart Monitor can detect impending heart failure before visible symptoms appear. The earlier, the better. With its solution, Acorai is redefining remote heart failure management.
